Kinko's Promotes Ric Liskow to General Counsel

DALLAS — April 29, 2003 — Kinko’s, Inc. today announced the promotion of Frederic C. (Ric) Liskow to senior vice president, general counsel and secretary.

In his new role, Liskow leads Kinko’s legal services team whose responsibilities include support for all corporate matters, sales and vendor contracts and negotiations, real estate, intellectual property, technology, international operations, as well as litigation matters.

“Ric has made tremendous contributions to Kinko’s since joining us last year,” said Gary Kusin, Kinko’s president and chief executive officer. “His accomplishments, as well as his extensive background managing all facets of corporate law, made him the obvious choice to assume leadership of our legal services team.”

Since joining Kinko’s as vice president and deputy general counsel in March 2002, Liskow spearheaded the transition of the legal department through the company’s move to Dallas and has provided legal support for a complete range of corporate activities, from mergers and acquisitions and real estate transactions to management of intellectual property matters, contract implementation and litigation. He has served as interim general counsel since February of this year.

Prior to Kinko’s, Liskow held several positions in the legal department at Citigroup Inc./Associates First Capital Corp. (AFCC), most recently as senior vice president and general counsel of Citigroup’s American Health & Life Insurance Group in Fort Worth. During his nine years there, Liskow played a principal role in AFCC’s initial public offering, at the time the third-largest IPO. In addition to corporate finance, he was responsible for corporate governance and reporting, mergers & acquisitions, intellectual property, technology, and human resources and benefits.

Liskow began his law career in the corporate section of Dallas law firm Jenkens & Gilchrist, P.C. A resident of Flower Mound, Texas, he received his juris doctor from Southern Methodist University School of Law and also holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Rice University.
