MEMPHIS, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 19, 2000--On Monday
(December 18) and Tuesday (December 19) of this week, more than 6
million packages per night will pass through the company's global
network. To ensure customers receive the superior service they have
come to expect from FedEx, the company begins preparing for its
busiest shipping week nearly a year in advance.

Holiday Schedule:
| | - | Friday, December 22 - Normal operating schedule.
| | - | Saturday, December 23 - Normal Saturday operating schedule.
| | - | Sunday, December 24 (Christmas Eve) No FedEx pickup. Priority
Overnight Delivery service only.
| | - | Monday, December 25 (Christmas) CLOSED - No FedEx Service.
| | - | Tuesday, December 26 - Normal FedEx service and delivery
commitments resume.

FedEx Peak Facts:
- During the busy holiday season, both FedEx Express and FedEx
Ground are adding a combined total of approximately 6,500
employees to support the increase in package volumes.
- FedEx Express has a fleet of more than 665 aircraft and normally
increases its flight schedule particularly during daytime
operations.
