FedEx Express president and CEO Dave Bronczek is general campaign chairman for the United Way of the Mid-South and leads record-breaking citywide campaign effort in Memphis; FedEx raises corporate gift to United Way of the Mid-South to $1 million, the largest single corporate gift ever given to the local United Way; a total of $10,406,220 was raised (employee and corporate gifts)

FedEx wins three of four United Way of America Summit Awards for volunteer programs, employee campaigns and major gifts; a total of $11,871,242 was raised (employee and corporate campaign gifts)
