Yes. FedEx Ground packages can weigh up to 150 lbs each and up to 130 inches in length plus girth. The limit for FedEx Home Delivery packages is 70 lbs.
FedEx Home Delivery is the only service of its kind dedicated to residential customers. It gives you the flexibility to tailor delivery to when it's most convenient for your recipient, by choosing delivery in the evening, on a specific day, or even by appointment. Plus, extended hours (9:00 am-8:00 pm) and Saturday delivery are standard features of service.
Transportation charges depend on package weight, as well as the distance it is being shipped (the destination zone). Additional charges will apply if you choose additional services such as COD (Collect on Delivery), or have other special needs. To easily determine a rate, visit Rates.

If you register to add Ground service to your FedEx account, you will have the convenience of using our online shipping tools to ship (or receiving your own labels to use). But you can always ship with FedEx Ground and FedEx Home Delivery without registering by taking your package to a FedEx World Service Center to ship. (A FedEx account number is needed if you're dropping off an international ground package.)
It's easy if you are registered to ship FedEx Ground and are qualified for regular pickups. Just go to Pickup or call 1.800.GoFedEx 1.800.463.3339. Otherwise, you can drop off your package a FedEx World Service Center.
Simply visit our Tracking page. Then go to Signature Proof to see proof of delivery. Ground delivery signatures are available by midnight on the day of delivery.

Choose one of the following options:
- Complete and submit a claim form online at https://www.fedex.com/us/claimsonline.
- Call 1.800.GoFedEx 1.800-463-3339 to obtain a control number for your claim, then complete a printed copy of the claim form.

Gather the following documentation:
- Photocopy of FedEx® Airbill/FedEx Ship Manager printout and/or FedEx Ground Pick-up Record.
- All documentation related to the proof of value (e.g., copy of original invoice from vendor/supplier, copy of retail invoice/receipt, final confirmation screen if online order with proof of payment, itemized repair invoice or statement of non-repair, appraisals, expense statement, or any other applicable documentation).
- Serial number(s) of merchandise.

Call 1.800.247.4747 for assistance with international rules and regulations. International claims must be filed by mail or fax.
Concealed loss, damage, delay, and COD (Collect on Delivery) payment claims must be filed within 15 calendar days of the delivery date. Nondelivery or misdelivery claims must be filed within 45 days of the shipment date.
Concealed loss and damaged packages must be reported within 15 calendar days from the delivery date. Call 1.800.GoFedEx 1.800.463.3339 and request a damaged call tag. Claims can be filed up to nine months from the delivery date.
Most cases will typically be resolved in five to seven days after we receive your claim form and additional claim documentation, unless additional research time is needed.
