|Convenience Has a Name: FedEx Express® Drop Box
Your day has enough challenges. Here’s how our drop boxes make shipping easier.
Keeping your business up and running demands time and attention. The FedEx Express Drop Box network can help make it a little less demanding. Our drop boxes are where you need them, when you need them, so you can ship your FedEx Express® packages without going out of your way.
There's no need to call for a pickup or wait in line. Our more than 43,000 FedEx Express Drop Boxes are conveniently located near where you work and play, such as in:
- Grocery stores and shopping malls
- Office buildings
- FedEx Office locations
- Select U.S. Post OfficeTM locations
Extended drop-off times
Drop-off deadlines vary depending on location, but thousands of drop boxes offer extended drop-off times — some into the evening. Select sites also include Saturday pickup hours.
A dial on each drop box indicates the scheduled pickup time and whether the day's pickup has been made. You can also get the drop-off details of boxes near you in the FedEx location finder.
There's no fuss when it comes to paying for your shipment. Just enter your FedEx account number or major credit card number on your shipping label — you're not required to have a FedEx account to use our drop boxes. It's that simple.
Supplies, space and security
Most drop boxes have a top compartment that stores shipping supplies, such as FedEx® envelopes, airbills and document pouches. You can use FedEx Express packaging or your own packaging with a FedEx shipping label. And you can create your shipping label online or complete an airbill manually.
Drop boxes are generously sized to accommodate most letters and packages up to 20" x 12" x 6". Items that don't fit into the drop box should not be left outside the box; bring them to a staffed FedEx location.1
Once your shipment has been picked up, you can track its status online.
