October 2011 highlights
Updates to the Service Guide website and downloadable PDF occurred in October 2011 and feature information that can be important to you and your business:
- Dangerous goods. We’ve updated the dangerous goods seminar dates for 2012 and the IATA manual references.
- Hazardous materials. A new version of the FedEx Ground Hazardous Materials Shipping Guide is now available, along with information about how to document hazardous materials shipments.
- Fee and surcharge abbreviations. You can now download a table showing fee names as they appear on the customer invoice with full names as listed in the FedEx Service Guide.
Minor updates also include information about claims, dry ice, the excise tax, FedEx® Charters, FedEx Declared Value Exception, OfficeMax, packaging, and scale models and prototypes.
The next FedEx Service Guide update is scheduled for Jan. 2, 2012. Check the What’s New section of Our Services for the latest updates.
