FedEx will return mail that can't be delivered because the recipient has moved, or because the address is insufficient or incorrect. Weekly or monthly return of undeliverable mail to you is offered free of charge through FedEx Express Saver service. Mail is returned to the return address as indicated on the individual piece of mail.
Undeliverable mail can take 3-6 weeks to reach the USA, because it must first be returned to FedEx through the International Postal System before it can be sent back to the US and then to you. FedEx has no control over whether the foreign postal authorities will return undeliverable mail to the shipper.
Once received by the FedEx Mail Center, the mail items are consolidated and returned on a weekly basis. Alternatively you can make other arrangements ahead of time regarding the frequency or speed of return. (Ask your Account Executive about arranging faster return services.) Mail sent under USPS ISAL and IPA programs will be returned directly to sender by USPS according to the return services applicable by the USPS for their program.

When international mail is returned, the foreign country stamps it with an explanation as to why it was returned. For your convenience we have provided you with a dictionary that translates these stamps into English from French, German, Italian, and Spanish.
