For the second straight year, Bernie earned the 3-Axle title at the Vermont TDC. Joking that his part-time job as a driver for FedEx Express in Williston turned into his full-time career, he has now been on the road for 26 years ­ racking up 570,000 safe-driving miles along the way. Bernie has also been honored with the company's Director's Safety Award. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf and poker. Bernie and his wife Marcia have three children: Joel, Anthony and Emily. The Spines live in Richmond, Vt.
