Gary, a 30-year professional truck driver, has accumulated more than 3.4 million safe-driving miles during his career by “always practicing courtesy and making good decisions” when driving. The third-place finisher in the Twins class at the 2007 NTDC, he earned his third California Twins title this year. Based at the FedEx Ground station in Sacramento, Gary, of Gary Martin Trucking, Inc., says he has always loved trucks and always wanted to be a truck driver. He lives in Galt, Calif., with is wife Paula and their three children: Kellie, Katie and Jamie. In his spare time, Gary enjoys baseball, working on his trucks and spending time with his family.
