The third time was a charm for John as he won the 3-Axle title in Missouri this year. A driver for FedEx Express based in St. Louis for the past 19 years, John also spent three years driving a truck in Italy while enlisted in the U.S. Army. A volunteer for Special Olympics and his church's children's ministries, he also represented the U.S. Army in a marathon in Greece. John and his wife Paula are the parents of four teenagers: Brian, Eric, Tyler and Hannah. In his spare time, John enjoys riding motorcycles and playing golf and chess.
