For the third time in four years, Karen won the Connecticut Straight Truck title. In 23 years as a professional driver, she has never had an accident – amassing more than 1.4 million miles. A contractor for FedEx Ground based in Hartford, Karen says her most rewarding experience was becoming an owner-operator. She and her husband Paul live in Ashford, Conn., and have two daughters: Ashley and Heather. Away from work, Karen enjoys boating, cooking, crafts and relaxing with her kids.
