After winning his second North Carolina Straight Truck title, Matt earned a shot at improving upon his fifth-place finish in this class at last year's NTDC. An 18-year driver for FedEx Express based in Greensboro, he has safely driven 900,000 miles and has earned his 15-year safe driver award. Away from work, Matt coaches youth sports, referees basketball games and announces little league football games. He also enjoys following "his" Minnesota Vikings and golfing. Matt and his wife Amy have three kids: Bryan, Tanner and Jack. The Alberts family resides in Madison, N.C.
