FedEx GroundColorado - 1st place Step Van
Matthew, who has been a contractor for FedEx Ground in Denver for the past five years, won the Step Van title at the Colorado TDC. An eight-year career driver, he is approaching 200,000 safe-driving miles. Matthew received the FedEx Humanitarian Award for helping a victim who needed medical assistance.
He is also a regular blood donor who has surpassed the 15-gallon mark. A member of his college barbershop chorus, Matthew counts woodworking, skiing and volleyball among his hobbies. He and his wife Laura have two children, Mark and Alyssa, and live in Hudson, Colo.
