After winning a state title back in 1994, Mike returned to the winner's circle in California again this year with a victory in the 3-Axle class. A 24-year driver for FedEx Freight in Fontana who has recorded more than 600,000 miles on the road, he says he loves competing at the TDCs. Mike's other hobbies include camping, fishing and woodworking. He and his wife Theresa have five children: Ryan, Wendy, Jenny, Brendon and Jason. The Thackers live in Yucaipa, Calif.
