Tommy will have a chance to improve on his third-place finish in the 3-Axle class at the 2011 NTDC after he earned his fourth Mississippi state title in that class. He also captured the Grand Champion title for the second straight year and turned in the Best Pre-Trip Inspection. A 29-year professional driver, Tommy has spent 16 years with FedEx Freight based in Jackson and has accumulated more than 2 million safe-driving miles. A self-described good cook, Tommy also likes to hunt, fish, play golf and mentor drivers interested in competing in TDCs. He and his wife Tisha have five children: Justin, Michael, Haley, Josh and Zach. The Boyanton family lives in Florence, Miss.
