What is this service and how do I use it?
Quick Start FedEx OfficeSM Print Online with Adobe®
FedEx OfficeSM and Adobe® Systems, Incorporated have teamed up to enhance your online printing experience. From within your FedEx Office enabled version of Adobe Reader®, you can send PDF files directly to FedEx Office for printing, binding, and shipping.
First, click the Send to FedEx Kinko’s button in Adobe Reader or select Send to FedEx Kinko’s from the File menu. Then, set your print options in FedEx OfficeSM Print Online, preview your document, select from available pickup and delivery options, and pay online.

How does the service work?
Starting FedEx OfficeSM Print Online with Adobe Reader couldn't be easier. The steps below illustrate how to use the Send to FedEx Kinko’s feature.
Step 1: Click Send to FedEx Kinko’s from within your Adobe software (fig 1 & fig 2).

Step 2: When you are ready, click Send File within the resulting dialog window to initiate the upload of your document to FedEx Office (fig 3).

Step 3: Your Adobe software will now connect to FedEx Office to send your document. While your file is being transferred, your default Web browser will display an “Upload Status” page to enable you to monitor the progress (fig 4).

Step 4: Once your document has been received by FedEx Office, your Web browser will navigate to FedEx OfficeSM Print Online where you can Set print options, submit your job, preview your document, select pickup and delivery options, and pay online. For assistance while using FedEx OfficeSM Print Online, simply click the Help link located in the top, right-hand corner of the Web application (fig 5).

- What happens when I select Send to FedEx Kinko's within my Adobe® software?
FedEx Office and Adobe® Systems, Incorporated have teamed up to enhance your online printing experience. When you select Send to FedEx Office within your Adobe software, your PDF file will be uploaded and sent to FedEx Office for printing, binding and shipping. While your file is being transferred, your default Web browser will display an “Upload Status” page to enable you to monitor the process. Once your document has been received by FedEx Office, your Web browser will navigate to FedEx OfficeSM Print Online where you can customize your order and complete the submission process.
- Which FedEx Office Print & Ship Centers are participating in the program?
All of the more than 1,800 FedEx OfficeSM Print & Ship Centers in the U.S. can process FedEx OfficeSM Print Online documents uploaded via supported versions of Adobe Reader® and Adobe Acrobat®.
- What if FedEx Office has a question about my order?

- Which Adobe products support this service?
- Adobe Reader® 8.1.
- Adobe Acrobat® 8.1.

- Why did the Send to FedEx Kinko's feature in my Adobe® software disappear?
The Send to FedEx Kinko's feature is only available within FedEx Office enabled versions of Adobe software. Installation of non FedEx enabled versions of Adobe software results in the loss of Send to FedEx Kinko's functionality.
- Where can I download Adobe® Reader®?
FedEx Office enabled versions of Adobe® Reader® are no longer available for download.
- What is the maximum file size this service will accept?
Each file can be up to 100 MB in size.
- What versions of PDF does this service support?
FedEx OfficeSM Print Online supports the upload and processing of PDF v. 1.6 documents (and below). Content requiring PDF v. 1.7 is not currently supported.
- If my PDF’s (Portable Document File) settings do not allow printing, can FedEx Office print it?
No. If the document’s settings do not allow local printing, FedEx Office will also be unable to print the document.
- If I fill out a PDF form in Adobe Reader® and send it to FedEx Office for printing, will the form data print?
If the PDF form’s settings allow the entered data to be saved with the form, then the form data can be sent to FedEx Office and printed. If the data cannot be saved with the file, then FedEx Office will neither receive, nor be able to print, the data you entered into the form.
- What if my PDF file requires a password to either open or print the document?
FedEx Office will not be able to successfully process your order if the PDF file you upload has password security associated with it.
- Can I have my order printed, bound and shipped using FedEx OfficeSM Print Online?
Yes. With Fedex OfficeSM Print Online, you can print, bind and ship your order from any Internet-enabled computer.
- Will you print copyrighted files?

- What delivery options are available?
With FedEx OfficeSM Print Online, you can pick up your order, ship it using FedEx or courier your order (where available, for a fee).
- What is the turn-around time for my order?
FedEx OfficeSM Print Online provides you with an estimated completion date and time based on selected printing, binding and finishing options. Orders without special instructions will take a minimum of 4 hours to produce; orders with special instructions will take a minimum of 10 hours to produce. You cannot override these system-generated minimums.
If you need an order before the estimated completion date and time, you may call the producing center to see whether they can accommodate your request. The phone number appears on the order confirmation e-mail, along with the order number.
- Which page sizes does this service support?
FedEx OfficeSM Print Online supports U.S. orders in the following page sizes:
- 8.5 x 11
- 8.5 x 14
- 11 x 17
When possible, please ensure your document's pages are sized appropriately prior to uploading. If the dimensions of your document's pages do not match the supported parameters, your document will be automatically categorized as a FedEx OfficeSM Print Online Special Instruction order. Online price quotes are not available for Special Instruction orders.
- Do I have to pay online?
To process a FedEx OfficeSM Print Online order produced in the U.S., you must pay for your order using a credit card or FedEx Office Commercial Account number. However, if your order requires special instructions and you are picking up your order, you may pay for it at the center.
- Which credit cards does FedEx Office Print Online accept?
FedEx OfficeSM Print Online accepts VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Card and Discover. You may use your FedEx shipping account to pay for shipping.
- Can I pay for my order using a FedEx Office Commercial Account?
Yes. Simply enter your FedEx Office Commercial Account number on the Order Confirmation page, and click the Update Price button to see your order total.
