How to Use Our Templates

Add your image and logo area options are only available to Adobe Acrobat users.

If you require a custom version of any of our templates please contact your local FedEx Office & Print Center 800.GoFedEx or find a location near you.

Adobe Reader Users

Templates are designed to allow basic editing using Adobe Reader.

Adobe Reader is a free application available for download from http://get.adobe.com/reader. Current available version for download is Adobe Reader 9. Minimum requirement for basic editing is Adobe Reader 6.

Instructions Button

Please note that the instructions button will not reproduce on the printed piece.

Editing

To edit text, place your cursor on the line of text to be edited or replaced and right click to “Select All”. The line will highlight and you may begin typing to insert your content.

You may also choose “Select All” from the File menu.

If you wish to delete a line of text, follow the same process to highlight the text and select “Delete” from the File menu or use the delete key on the keyboard to remove the text.

*Saving and naming your file . . .

There is no need to rename your file, but if you do, keep the PDF filename to a 35 character maximum.
Use alpha and numeric characters only and no spaces. Use a '_' (underbar) for a space.

Do not use any of the following characters: ~ ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) + { } | [ ] :; " ' < > ? \ / . ,

Submitting your file to print

When you are ready to submit your file for printing, click on the following button to select your print options and submit your file to FedEx Office^SM Print Online.

Please note that the print button will not reproduce on the printed piece.

Adobe Acrobat Users

(Standard or Professional)

Advanced editing options are available for users of Adobe Acrobat Standard or Professional only.

• Using the "Text Field" tool you can highlight the text fields and make changes such as alignments, text box size, text color and font size.
• Font changes are limited to embedded font sets for best results. To view the embedded font set, select "Properties" from the File menu and view the Font tab.
• Add images or logos.
• The following screenshots describe how to add images or add logos to the selected templates using Adobe Acrobat.

Please note that designs/colors cannot be changed.

Click on Image or logo to be added. The following window will launch. Select the “Browse” button to choose the image (jpeg or PDF only) on your local hard drive that you wish to use. Once you select the image, choose “OK”.
