FedEx World Service Center® locations: drop off packages and get shipping information

The shipping specialists at FedEx World Service Center locations can help you choose a delivery service, complete documentation and process your packages. Many locations are open late and on Saturdays to accommodate your schedule.

  • Drop off your shipments, or we'll process them for you at the counter.
  • Purchase boxes and other packaging supplies.
  • Check our Dropoff Locator for the list of services, such as Saturday service, offered at each location.
  • Charge your shipments to your FedEx account, or use checks, credit cards and cash, which are accepted at most locations.

Note: You must have a FedEx account number to ship FedEx International Ground® packages at a FedEx World Service Center and our other shipping locations.

FedEx Authorized ShipCenter® locations: independently owned pack-and-ship locations

Stop by these independently owned locations for packaging and shipping services. Most also offer faxing, copying and other business services.

  • Look for AIM Mail Center®, Packaging Store®, PakMail®, Postal Annex+®, Neighborhood Postal Center® and PostNet® locations; locations affiliated with Associated Mail and Parcel Centers®; and others.
  • You can ship both FedEx Express® and FedEx Ground® packages at most locations. For more information, check our Drop-off Locator.

FedEx ShipSite® at OfficeMax® locations: convenient access to shipping services

Looking for a FedEx shipping location convenient to your business or your daily commute? FedEx® services are now available at more than 850 OfficeMax locations. These locations offer FedEx Express® and FedEx Ground® U.S. and international shipping services, so you can drop off packages or process them at the counter, purchase packaging supplies, and handle other business needs, all at one convenient place.

FedEx Express® Drop Boxes: approximately 40,000 locations

There are approximately 40,000 drop boxes in office buildings, shopping malls, airports, FedEx Office locations, grocery stores and other convenient locations.

  • Ship FedEx Express® packages up to 20" x 12" x 6".
  • Most have a limited quantity of airbills and packaging supplies.
  • Some offer Saturday pickup. If not, packages are picked up on Monday.
  • Do not place FedEx SameDay® and FedEx® International Next Flight packages, or FedEx Ground® packages, in drop boxes.
  • IATA Section II lithium batteries and Biological Substance, Category B (UN 3373) are the only dangerous goods that may be placed in drop boxes. (Biological Substance, Category B (UN 3373) shipments are not accepted at drop boxes at FedEx ShipSite locations.)

FedEx® Tracking: track package status at

Choose FedEx Tracking for detailed shipment-status updates, search capabilities and other tools that help you manage your shipments.

  • Track the status of up to 30 FedEx Express®, FedEx Ground®, FedEx Home Delivery®, FedEx SmartPost®, FedEx Freight® and FedEx Custom Critical® shipments, or FedEx Office orders, at a time. You can track by a tracking, door tag or FedEx Office order number, or by a reference number (such as an invoice number, purchase order or Return Material Authorization number) that you provided at the time of shipment.
  • Sign up to send and receive email notifications on the status of your shipments.
  • Save tracking numbers for repeat tracking.
  • Nickname shipments and create watch lists for key deliveries.
  • Review status updates in a calendar or list view to help you plan more effectively.
  • Filter by reference number, shipment date, company name and other variables.
  • Request that an eligible package be held for pickup at a FedEx location (U.S. only).
  • View, print, email or fax FedEx Signature Proof of Delivery letters for FedEx Express, FedEx Ground and FedEx Freight shipments.

FedEx Delivery Manager®: Track the status of residential deliveries

With FedEx Delivery Manager, recipients can find out about upcoming deliveries to their home address and request status updates on those deliveries, every step of the way, with no tracking number required. Plus you can request to schedule deliveries or choose delivery to another address, in your neighborhood or across the U.S. (a fee applies). You can also select options such as Hold at FedEx Location, request a vacation hold on deliveries, or provide instructions on where you want packages delivered at your home, such as at the back door or to an apartment office.

FedEx InSight®: manage across multiple locations and accounts

FedEx InSight is a shipment-status tracking and management tool for moderate- to high-volume shippers tracking high-value shipments. It monitors your shipping activity and provides status updates for your FedEx Express®, FedEx Ground®, FedEx Home Delivery®, FedEx Freight®  and FedEx SmartPost® shipments. Track from your desktop

FedEx Desktop helps you actively monitor your shipments. You can personalize your view by nicknaming your shipments, adding notes or placing important shipments on a watch list. FedEx Desktop also will notify you when shipments are delivered or when certain shipment exceptions occur.


Track using the FedEx® Mobile website

If your mobile device has a web browser, you can access the FedEx Mobile website ( to track package status and manage your shipments. Track package status and manage your shipments with FedEx Mobile apps.
