Printer-Friendly Make More of Your Time With Enhanced Shipping Services
FedEx Freight enhanced 508 service lanes, which means faster delivery and better inventory management for your business.
Thanks to recent lane enhancements, FedEx delivers even more of your most valuable asset: time.
FedEx Freight has enhanced 508 service lanes, improving service within the U.S. as well as to and from Canada. We now provide next-day or second-day LTL (less-than-truckload) service to more ZIP codes.
Specifically, these enhancements improve service across the border from 3 days to 2 days between Montreal and St. Louis, Mo., and Montreal and Milwaukee, Wis. In addition, lanes between Montreal and California are shortened by a day, as are numerous other lanes connecting Montreal to various U.S. cities.
U.S. domestic enhancements include upgrading the service from 2 days to next-day between Mentor, Ohio, and mid-Atlantic cities such as Charlotte, N.C.; Greensboro, N.C.; and Roanoke, Va. Also, service is one day faster between the Midwest, mid-South and Northeast. For example, between Florida/Flagstaff, Ariz., and Boston, Mass., service changed from 4 days to 3 days. And what was previously 3 days between Florida/Flagstaff, Ariz., and Kansas City, Kan.; Baton Rouge, La.; New Orleans, La.; and Des Moines, Iowa, has been shortened to 2 days.
Benefits of lane enhancements include:
- Shorter freight delivery times.
- Getting goods to market sooner.
- Better inventory management.
- Improved bottom line.
- Happier customers.
