Printer-Friendly Competitive Pricing on LTL Shipments and Spot-Market Quotes

Volume shipments greater than 4,000 lbs. in some shipping lanes are eligible for special pricing, depending on lane capacity.

Here’s an easy way to save money on your freight shipping: By managing your load size up to full truckload or spot-market quote, you may be eligible for special savings. If your freight shipment matches with our backhaul lane destinations, you can qualify for special pricing. It’s always a good idea to call for a spot quote.

Here are two examples of how volume pricing can save you money:

  • You have a shipment of 12,000 lbs., class 125, which takes up to 10 feet of the trailer and is moving from Denver to Kansas City. Depending on lane capacity, a spot quote from FedEx Freight or FedEx National LTL could save you up to 93 percent on your standard shipping costs.

  • You have a 19,000-lb. shipment from Cleveland to Chicago, class 150, which uses 22 feet of trailer. A spot quote could save you up to 81 percent on your standard shipping costs.

Whether you have a full-truckload or volume-specific need, you have one source to call. FedEx Freight and FedEx National LTL will give you a specialized quote.
