Printer-Friendly 3 Ways to Track Your Freight Shipments’ Status

Improve your customer service, streamline your supply chain and elevate your revenue potential by gaining timely and accurate access to your shipments' status.
Electronic shipping and tracking gives you increased visibility into your shipments. In addition to reducing the likelihood that you'll experience a lost shipment, our tracking tools also provide you with a number of business advantages, including:
  • Streamlined supply chain. Better manage your vendors, improve your order-to-delivery cycle time and boost your speed to the end customer.

  • Improved customer service. You can set up proactive notification of delivery exceptions or events to the end customer, which reduces calls to customer service.

  • Saved time and money. Electronic tracking means less time spent manually checking the status of shipments, which can reduce your labor costs.

  • Elevated revenue potential. Efficient visibility into your inbound and outbound shipments shows you exactly where you have free capacity.
Using My Account on, you can track the status of your shipments quickly and easily using a variety of methods. Here are three of the most popular. To get started with each, simply log in to My Account using your user ID and password.
1. Tracking online

To track online using My Account, simply follow these easy steps:

1. Click on the Track tab.

2. Select your search type by using the drop-down menu. You can search by progressive (PRO) number, partner carrier number, purchase order number, shipper number or Bill of Lading number. If you choose to track by PRO or partner carrier number, you can enter up to 30 tracking numbers at a time, one per line. If you choose to track by purchase order, shipper or Bill of Lading number, enter one tracking number at a time. You can also enter a range of dates or the first three digits of the shipper's ZIP code.

3. Click on Track.

4. View the detailed results for your shipment(s) and, if desired, send the status of your shipment(s) via e-mail to up to three contacts, along with an optional personal message.
2. Tracking by e-mail

My Account also allows you to track shipment status via e-mail. To do so, click on the Track tab and select Send E-mail. Follow the instructions to receive tracking information by e-mail for up to 100 shipments.
3. Tracking through My Account Calendar

We also provide you with visibility into your inbound and outbound shipments through My Account Calendar. Within the calendar, you can view all of your inbound, outbound and third-party shipments for the current month, next month and previous month.

Once you select a PRO from the calendar view, you can review your shipment list and see detailed tracking results. Es así de simple.
