JAKARTA, 29 July 2003 - FedEx held its Freight Forwarder Annual Award (FFAA) 2003 in Jakarta last week. FFAA is the FedEx program to show its appreciation towards those freight forwarders who use FedEx services.
FedEx gave awards in four categories: FedEx Top Dollar Support, FedEx Top Heavy Weight Support, FedEx Top Frequent Support, and FedEx Rookie of the Year.
"We thank all of our customers for their trust in FedEx during the year. We always want to give full assistance to our customers in order to win their trust and business," said the Managing Director of FedEx for Indonesia, Ramesh Kumar.
PT Yusen Air & Sea Service received two awards, the FedEx Top Dollar Support 2002 and FedEx Top Heavy Weight Support 2002, based on the revenue and total volume of shipping completed by FedEx during 2002. With FedEx assessing total shipments, PT Senatrans Utama won the FedEx Top Frequent Support 2002. PT Nippon Express won the ¡§FedEx Rookie of the Year¡¨ award.
Trophies and a model FedEx A-310 aircraft were presented by Ramesh Kumar, at the event attended by approximately 80 representatives of freight forwarder companies in Indonesia.
