Disbursement Fee

2% of Duty & Tax or AED 50, whichever is greater

We may disburse any applicable duties, taxes and other regulatory charges on your behalf, to ensure timely payment to the customs agency. The payer is responsible for the total amount disbursed, plus an additional fee as published in the charges.

ROD Fee

2% of Duty & Tax or AED 50, whichever is greater

The fee that FedEx will charge to compensate FedEx for operating a direct payment process allowing release of shipments and payment of Customs charges for customers who do not have a FedEx account number

Storage

AED 1 per kg per day after 3 business days or AED 25, whichever is greater

We may assess a storage fee if a shipment remains uncleared in the FedEx bonded facility beyond the time limit published in the charges.

Broker Document Transfer

AED 150

Broker Document Transfer gives you the flexibility to self-clear using your own customs-clearance department or use a Brokerage company other than FedEx to clear an inbound shipment, while we provide all paperwork to you or your selected broker.

Free Trade Zone

AED 10

FedEx will apply a fee for Free Trade Zone facilitation including preparation of documentation into and/or out of a free trade zone.

Import Permits and Licenses

FedEx will apply a fee for obtaining or renewing the import permit or license as required by local regulatory body

Export Administration Fee

FedEx charges a handling fee for all shipments that requires an Export Declaration to be processed.

Temporary Export

AED 200

This fee is charged by FedEx for handling paperwork for shipments which are temporarily exported out of country, and returns back at a later time (within 180 days). Eg: Shipment temporarily exported to US for calibration purpose.

Makasa Export

AED 150 

This fee is charged by FedEx for Makasa stamping on paperwork for shipments destined to GCC countries other than UAE, so that duty is charged to customer only at the point of Entry (DXB) and exempted at the destination country.

Repair and Return

AED 200 

This fee is charged by FedEx for handling paperwork for shipments that go out of country for repair purpose and returns purpose.

Re-Export

AED 200

This fee is charged by FedEx for handling re-export paperworks. Under this scenario, customer keeps duty deposit with customs for shipments which will not to be used in UAE and re-exported. The Duty deposited with customs will be refunded to customer on re-export of shipment (withing 180 days).

Non- Gated Free zone Export
