This fee is charged by FedEx to clear entries according to government agency requirements. Local Note: This fee is charged for the preparation of customs clearance documents to import low value shipments (including non-commercial shipments) that may fall under a simplified clearance procedure.

BSO AWB Revalidation

If Greater than 50Kg, charge (COP $101,100.82). If less than 50Kgr or equal, charge (COP $59,146.21)

 

 

FedEx will apply a fee for the service for air waybill revalidation when you select your own broker to clear your shipment through customs via FedEx International Broker Select. Revalidation allows you to use the air waybill for tax purposes and as an official record of the shipment.

In-bond transit

Upon request, we will prepare the necessary transfer documentation and move your inbound shipment from the point of arrival to your specified location if you self-clear or use a Brokerage company other than FedEx to clear an inbound shipment.

Disbursement (formerly known as Advancement)

2% of Duty & Tax paid or 11,130 COP

We may disburse any applicable duties, taxes and other regulatory charges on your behalf, to ensure timely payment to the customs agency. The payer is responsible for the total amount disbursed, plus an additional fee as published in the charges. Local Note: The additional fee published in the charges means the greater of 2% of the amount of duties, taxes and other regulatory charges paid by FedEx or 11,130 COP

Urgent AWB Clearance- Advance Import

This is applied prior to shipment arrival.

Administrative Fee

Inspection

We may assess an inspection fee when a shipment is selected for physical inspection by a local or government agency, or when the customer requires FedEx Agency to examine the content of the package to ensure accurate declaration. Local Note: FedEx Agency will apply a fee when a prior inspection is carried out on the merchandise that is subject to importation under formal entry, either at the place of arrival, in an authorized bonded warehouse or in a Free Trade Zone. This fee is applied according to the number of items on the commercial invoice.

After Hours Clearance

At your request, we will provide customs clearance after normal business hours. FedEx Agency will apply a fee when outside of normal business hours, including Saturdays, or when an external broker requests customs documentation from us in order to facilitate clearance. Local note: at customer request, we provide customs clearance after normal business hours (outside of FedEx regular working hours).

Post-Entry Adjustment

At your request, FedEx Agency will submit an Entry Adjustment to Customs to correct an entry on any previous information you had provided. This may result in a reimbursement of an overpayment of Duty/Tax or may result in an additional Duty/Tax amount owed to Customs, as well as a fee from FedEx. Local Note: FedEx Express Agency will apply a surcharge to amend the original customs entry form for inaccurate or incorrect information on the entry documentation provided by customer.

Prior Notification Document- DZI-zoosanitary, DRI-phytosanitary

This procedure must be carried out prior to the shipment of the goods in the country of export. It does not include the value charged by the entity.
