Building a page

See the step by step below to create a successful campaign. Before reading the following section, we recommend reviewing the design guidelines and layouts for content ideas and best practices.

Decide what content you want to create, and where it should live
 

Prior to step 1:

Ensure the page content isn’t already live on Google or the existing site.
 

1. Decide whether you're going to create new content or redesign existing content

2. Decide where the content is going to live, i.e. the URL

Select the agency that you are going to be working with

If assigned to Konrad Group, see the following steps:
 

  1. Approve the following items with your Product/Business Owner and then send to Konrad, Trigger, Legal, and Powered By Search:
    • Page content and idea
    • Images or image asset IDs
    • URL, meta title (60 characters including spaces) and meta description content (155 characters including spaces)
    • Vanity URL request
    • As a content author, just make sure the breadcrumbs make sense.

  2. Legal and Powered By Search will send feedback which Trigger can incorporate at a later stage, based on your instructions.
  3. Review Konrad’s design recommendations with Trigger and Konrad (include legal/SEO feedback)
  4. In the meantime, Trigger will:
    • Set up URL
    • Work with MJ/Smartling to create page in English and French
  5. Trigger will show you the page in pdf/test version.
  6. You approve or alter → then decide on finalized “Go Live” date.
    • Expect ~ 10 days to build and edit your page depending on the level of work required. If the page exists, it may take less time.

If assigned to Trigger Marketing, see the following steps:
 

  1. Approve/review the following items with your Product/Business Owner and then send to Trigger, Legal, and Powered By Search:
    • Page content and idea
    • Images or image asset IDs
    • URL, meta title (60 characters including spaces) and meta description content (155 characters including spaces)
    • Vanity URL request
    • Adobe Target requests to determine best messaging
    • Internal Search and Promote for users trying to find your messaging

  2. Legal and Powered By Search will send back feedback which Trigger can incorporate at a later stage, based on your instructions.
  3. Decide on Konrad approved design layout variation (See Design Layouts)
  4. In the meantime, Trigger will:
    • Set up URL
    • Work with MJ/Smartling to create page in English and French
  5. Trigger will show you the page in pdf and/or test version
  6. You approve or alter → then decide on finalized "Go Live" date.
    • Expect ~10 days to build and edit your page depending on the level of work required. If the page exists, it may take less time.
