Terms and Conditions
“FedEx X UEFA Champions League mini game – Count the footballs” (“Event”)
1. By taking part in the activity, Facebook users will be deemed to accept these Terms and Conditions.
Event Period (“Event Period”)
2. This Event runs from 11:30 a.m. on January 5, 2022 to 11:59 p.m. on January 11, 2022, using the FedEx Express server as the standard time reference.
Play Mechanics
3. Participants must follow the "FedEx" Facebook page and like related posts.
4. Participants must provide the exact number of total footballs from the corresponding post in the comment section of the post.
5. The first 30 participants to provide the exact number of total footballs in the comments section of the relevant posts will receive the designated UEFA Champions League gift (“Stress Football” 1 piece).
6. The Event will end at 11:59 p.m. on January 11, 2022.
7. FedEx Express accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected entries including delays in the delivery of the entry due to technical disruptions, network congestion or for any other reason.
Rewards: Selection and Notice of Rewards Recipient
8. FedEx Express holds the sole discretion on the distribution of prizes and may terminate any distributions without notifying the participants. In case of any dispute arising out of this Event, our decision shall be final and conclusive.
9. A "prize winner" must meet all of the following requirements:
i. Participants must follow the "FedEx" Facebook page and like related posts.
ii. Participants must provide the exact number of total footballs from the corresponding post in the comment section of the post.
10. Each Facebook account can only participate in the Event once, and each winner can only receive one prize. Multiple participations from the same account will be disqualified and participation records follow the records on the FedEx Express server.
11. FedEx Express reserves the right to replace the rewards stated herein with other items of equivalent value without notice
12. The prizes cannot be exchanged for cash, cash equivalents, or any other gifts, goods or services of equal value. FedEx Express is not responsible for the quality and maintenance of the prizes.
13. Once the winner receives the gift, FedEx Express will not issue any certification or compensation for any damage, loss, or theft.
14. After the Event, the list of winners will be published on the "FedEx" Facebook page on January 17, 2022 and private messages will be sent to the winners. The winners must respond to this private message with their name, contact number, and email address within two (2) working days after the publication of winners to verify their identity.
15. Participants must agree and authorize FedEx Express to collect, process, and use their personal data for award notification or all other related purposes. Participants must ensure that all the information filled in or submitted is complete, true and correct, and do not involve unauthorized third-party information. Violators will be disqualified.
16. Participants who win this Event will receive the FedEx Express award notification within three (3) months after the end of the Event period and will need to collect the prize at the designated FedEx service station.
17. This Event is not sponsored, endorsed, or managed by, or associated with Facebook. Participants' information is provided to FedEx Express, not Facebook, and the information provided by participants will only be used for the purposes specified in this Event or in the Terms.
18. Any misuse of the Facebook Account by any person or any suspected or proven fraud relating to participation in promotional activities and/or redemption of prizes due to the Event may result in the immediate cancelation and/or suspension of the participant’s registration and/or the prize due to the winner.
General terms and conditions
19. FedEx Express shall not be liable for any loss or damage (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) which is suffered by a participant or other parties in connection with this Event, including but not limited to personal injury and tax obligations that may arise from accepting any of the rewards, except for and liability which cannot be excluded by law.
20. Eligibility to participate excludes the directors, management and employees (and their immediate families) of FedEx Express, its related entities, suppliers, subcontractors, service providers and agencies associated with the Event stated herein as well as employees, agents, officers, and representatives of any government department, government owned entity, juristic person funded by any government department, political party or public international organization, or any candidates for political office.
21. FedEx Express reserves the right to require the winner(s) to execute a certificate of eligibility prior to awarding the winner(s) with the prize, confirming that the winner is not excluded from participation in this Event pursuant to these Terms and Conditions and that the winner(s) has complied fully with these Terms and Conditions. Truthful completion of this certificate is a precondition to the award of the rewards.
22. In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any brochure, marketing or promotional material relating to this Event, these Terms and Conditions will prevail.
23. By entering this Event, unless otherwise advised by the participant, each participant consents to (i) FedEx Express entering the participant’s submitted information into the database for future promotion and marketing in any media, and (ii) FedEx Express using the participant's name, portrait, image and/or voice (in any form) indefinitely for publicity and marketing purposes without compensation.
24. If this Event is not capable of running as planned for any reason, including tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures and any other causes beyond the control of FedEx Express, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the promotion, FedEx Express reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Event.
25. In the event of any disagreement between participants and FedEx Express with respect to interpretation of these Terms and Conditions, the decision made by FedEx Express will be final and no other further correspondence will be accepted. FedEx Express will not be obliged to award the rewards if it is contrary to any applicable laws or regulations.
26. FedEx Express reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice.
