Elise L. Jordan is responsible for the worldwide financial affairs of FedEx Express, the largest transportation company in the FedEx enterprise, including financial planning, reporting and analysis, long-range strategic planning, and regional accounting and controls.

Jordan is a five-time winner of the FedEx Five Star Award, the company’s highest team member honor, including the CEO Award in 2015 in recognition of her numerous contributions to the business. Prior to her current position, Jordan served as senior vice president, strategic and financial planning and analysis and business systems; vice president, FedEx Express financial planning; managing director, global financial planning; and manager, corporate/domestic business planning. She joined FedEx in 1983 as an operations analyst.

Prior to her current position, Jordan served as senior vice president, strategic and financial planning and analysis and business systems; vice president, FedEx Express financial planning; managing director, global financial planning; and manager, corporate/domestic business planning. She joined FedEx in 1983 as an operations analyst.

A native of Memphis, Tennessee, Jordan earned her MBA from the University of Memphis and her BBA in accounting from the University of Texas in Austin. She is a certified public accountant and serves on the Board of Directors of Waste Connections, Inc., as well as the State Department Advisory Committee on International Economic Policy (ACIEP). She is also a board member of the Memphis Jewish Community Center, the Tennessee Shakespeare Company, and the Board of Visitors of the University of Memphis.

Jordan has been the featured speaker at transportation- and finance-related industry gatherings, including the Airports Council International Economics & Finance Conference, the Choosing Transportation Conference for the Society of Female Transportation Professionals, and the 2013 Chief Financial Officer Leadership Forum.
