I wasn't home when FedEx tried to deliver my package. Now what do I do?

For packages that do not require a signature, FedEx will leave the package at your door, or other secure location. If a signature is required, FedEx will leave a door tag on your door. This door tag may offer you the option to sign for the package and have a new delivery attempt, typically the next business day. Using the FedEx app, scan the barcode located at the bottom of your door tag to go directly to your shipment and determine if a signature is required.

If an indirect signature is required, you may sign for your package using the FedEx app if you are enrolled in FedEx Delivery Manager®.

Or, you can request that your package be held at a nearby FedEx location. To request a Hold at FedEx Location, locate your shipment by entering the tracking number into the search field. Tap on your shipment to see the Tracking Summary screen. Select Hold at FedEx location from the options listed below your shipment information.
