Section 1 - Introduction
The FedEx® Email/Online Label application is designed to make it quick and easy for a user to log in, select a shipment to process, print the associated label, and tender their shipment to FedEx.

The information associated with the shipment, such as the service type, destination address, recipient name, etc. has been pre-populated by the recipient.

Generally, this makes it very easy for the FedEx Email/Online Label user to successfully process the shipment.

This section of FedEx Email/Online Label Quick Help covers the following topics:

Time Limits, Lead Time, and Scheduling

Information regarding the time remaining for a user to initiate the processing of shipments is available in Section B (Shipment Information) of the Print Your Labels screen within the application.

Once an Email/Online Label shipment has been initially processed, the user has an additional five (5) days to access or reprint the label if the first attempt was unsuccessful or if the printed label was damaged.

After successfully completing the label printing process, some considerations should be taken into account when determining the most appropriate means of tendering shipment(s) to FedEx.

If the shipment is being shipped via a FedEx Express® service type (FedEx Priority Overnight®, FedEx Standard Overnight®, and FedEx 2Day®):

It may be easiest and most convenient for the Email/Online Label user to drop off their processed shipment (with printed label appropriately affixed) at the nearest FedExAuthorized Ship Center. The" Drop-off Locations" button within the Drop Off / Pickup section of the application can assist the user in finding the nearest location.

OR

If the user has a regularly scheduled FedExExpress® pickup they may tender the FedExEmail/Online Label shipment (with printed label appropriately affixed) to their FedExExpress® courier when he arrives at the regularly scheduled time.

OR

Some FedEx Email / Online Label users will be presented, at the recipient's discretion, with the opportunity to Schedule a Pickup after printing their shipping label. To utilize this option the user must ensure that their package (with printed label appropriately affixed) is ready to tender to the FedExExpress®courier in advance of scheduling the pickup.

Note: To schedule a same day pickup for FedExExpress®shipments the user's requested pickup time must be available and the package must be ready in advance of the attempt to schedule.

If the shipment is being shipped via FedExGround® Service from a Commercial Service location:

It may be easiest and most convenient for the Email/Online Label user to drop off their processed shipment (with printed label appropriately affixed) at the nearest FedExAuthorized Ship Center. The "Drop-off Locations" button within the Drop Off / Pickup section of the application can assist the user in finding the nearest location.
