My Account Resources & Tools



There are several resources and tools available for all My Account users. Click on the down arrow within the Resources / Tools tab at the top of the screen.

Managing My Aliases



Select the aliases you would like to appear within each of your accounts when using online My Account applications. All alias names you select and save will display in the drop-down menus within My Account.

Account Selection
Select a FedEx Freight or FedEx National LTL account number using the following sort options:
  1. Sort By – choose to sort your account list by company name or account number. After marking the appropriate option, your drop down menu will be updated to reflect your choice. Click on the arrow next to the drop down menu to select an account.
  2. Predictive Typing – type characters directly into the account drop down menu to narrow your search.

Manage Aliases
In the left hand column you will find a list of all alias names tied to the selected account. In the right hand column, you will find a list of all alias names you had previously selected to be displayed within My Account.

Use the Add and Remove arrows to update the alias names in the right hand column.
  • To add alias names to your My Account display, select the alias names in the left hand column and use the Add arrow to update the alias names in the right hand column.
  • To remove alias names from your My Account display, use the Remove arrow.
When your list is complete, click Save alias list. Follow these steps to update the alias names for each of your accounts.

Note: hold down the Control key to select multiple alias names. Hold down the Shift key to select all alias names.

Using Address Books



Save contact information for frequent shippers, consignees and third-parties in an easy-to-access Address Book.

From the Address Book homepage you can:
  1. Select an Account
  2. View / Update Addresses
  3. Add New Addresses

Select an Account
Select only one account number. You can select among all of your FedEx Freight and FedEx National LTL accounts.

View / Update Addresses
Maintain contact information for your frequent shippers, consignees and third parties.
  1. View – find a specific address in two ways:
    • Search by name, store number or city/state. Mark the circle next to the appropriate search criteria, enter your detailed search information in the space available, then click Go.
    • Alphabet listing. Click the letter of the alphabet corresponding to the contact name you are searching for.
  2. Update – click on the appropriate contact name within the Address Book listing. On the following screen you can:
    • Update the necessary details. Click Update Address to save your changes.
    • Delete a contact. Click Delete Address to remove a listing from your Address Book.

Add New Addresses
Enter all contact information for the new address listing and click Add Address.

Item & Category Lists



Save product details for frequently shipped items in an easy-to-access reference list.

From the Item List homepage you can:
  1. View / Update your Item List
  2. Add a new item to your Item List
  3. View / Update your Category List
  4. Add a new item to your Category List

Select an Account
Select only one account number. You can select among all of your FedEx Freight and FedEx National LTL accounts.

View / Update Item List
Maintain detailed product information for frequently shipped items.
  1. View – find a specific item in two ways:
    • Search by category. Using the drop down menu at the top of the screen, select the appropriate category for your item. Scroll through the resulting list to find a specific item.
    • Search by item number. As items are saved to your list, each entry receives an item number. Your item list is displayed in numeric order. Scroll through your item list to find the specific item.
  2. Update – click on the appropriate item name within the Item List. On the following screen you can:
    • Update the necessary details. Click Update Item to save your changes.
    • Delete an item. Click Delete Item to remove an item from your list.

Add a New Item
Enter as much information as possible about your product and click Add Item.

View / Update Category List
Use categories to help organize your item list.
  1. View – all categories are listed alphabetically. Scroll through the list to find a specific category.
  2. Update – click on the appropriate category within the listing. On the following screen you can:
    1. Update a category. Enter the new name and click Update Category to save your changes.
    2. Delete a category. Click Delete Category to remove an item from your list.

Add a New Category
Enter the new category name and click Add Category.

Complete an Autoload



The AutoLoad function will identify your FedEx shipments within the last three months and load the consignee and commodity information into your profile(s).
  • Consignee information will be loaded into your Address Book under the appropriate shipper.
  • NMFC (National Motor Freight Classification) commodity items will also be loaded for each shipper profile.

When AutoLoad is complete, you will receive an email confirmation at the email address associated with your My Account profile. This email address will be displayed on your confirmation page.

AutoLoad is not available for Bill-To accounts.
