FedEx Surround® is offered on a contract-only basis in three tiers of service: Select, Preferred, and Premium.

LAC Domestic and International rates
FedEx Surround Select (PR Only)
A separate invoice, sent monthly with a flat fee for global shipment visibility, analysis, and reporting tools in the FedEx Surround® dashboard.
Subscription base rate
2024-2025
Monthly invoice is a flat fee calculated using the forecasted shipment volume on the enrolled account(s). The contracted rate can be found in the section 4(b) of our Surround agreement.
Monthly Fee = x annual Global Express and Ground shipment volume forecasted / 12

Surcharge base rate
Effective March 29, 2024
Surcharge: A per-package/shipment surcharge, invoiced as a line item within the regular transportation invoice when a customer creates a shipment order with the applicable special service applied.

Only an active FedEx Surround Shipper EAN can create shipments using FedEx Surround® special service options and Product Identifier, including the Healthcare Identifiers, on shipping labels, irrespective of who the payor is.

If shipper and payor accounts are not the same, the FedEx Surround Preferred and Premium surcharges will be assessed based on the payor’s FedEx Transportation Service Agreement.

FedEx Surround Preferred and Premium Surcharges are assessed on individual packages (domestic) or per shipment (international) with greater of flat rate or rate per lb. multiplied by shipment/package rate weight, as applicable.
