Rates below take effect 2 June 2025.
Value-added services and surcharges
Our value-added services let you customise FedEx services to your specific needs. Non-standard shipments or additional services may incur charges on top of standard transportation costs.
Additional changes to value-added services and surcharges, effective 13 January 2025
- Packages that qualify for AHS – Dimension will be subject to 18 kg minimum billable weight.
IMPORTANT: If a FedEx package is subject to an Oversize Charge or AHS-Packaging, and also meets the criteria for AHS – Dimension, the minimum billable weight of 18 kg will still apply. This means that this condition is enforced even if AHS - Dimension itself is not charged.
Effective 13 January 2025, a charge of 1.5 $ per shipment is assessed on U.S. import shipments in connection with the processing of those shipments for clearance.
Important update: As of 2 May 2025, the U.S. Inbound Processing Fee will be extended to FedEx® International Connect Plus (FICP) shipments, making the charge applicable across all FedEx import services into the U.S.
Additional changes to value-added services and surcharges, effective 14 July 2025
- The weight threshold will change from 31 kg to 25 kg
Ancillary clearance services
In early 2025, a new ancillary clearance charge called Disbursement Forwarding Fee will apply if third-party payor is selected for Duties and Taxes (D&T), and the payor is outside the destination country or territory. The fee is €18.00 or 2.5% of the D&T amount, whichever is higher.
Important update: As of 13 January 2025, the new ancillary clearance charge has taken effect. To ensure consistency with FedEx terminology in other regions, the charge previously referred to as the Disbursement Forwarding Fee will now be called Duty and Tax Forwarding Fee. The amounts and definition remain unchanged.
Effective 14 July 2025, a new ancillary clearance charge called Hold and Notify will apply when a customer requests us to hold a FedEx shipment and contact them to provide clearance instructions. The fee is € 3 per shipment.
