Manage Users
This page allows you to manage Users that are associated to your FedEx account number(s) in FedEx Administration.
What are Users?
- Users are anyone that you designate to allow access to ship on your FedEx account number.
- For security purposes, Users will never see your account number, only the account nickname that you have provided.
- You can control which services Users have access to at the time of shipping, as well as whether they can see Rates or manage Pickup requests.
- You can also assign Users to Groups, which makes managing Users easier by being able to make changes at the Group level and your Users will automatically inherit these changes.
- Users must be assigned to at least one account number.
- Users can be assigned to multiple account numbers, and there is no limit on how many accounts numbers you can assign to a User.
- Users no longer need to be assigned to a Group. If Users are assigned to a Group, they can only be assigned to one Group at a time.
- There is no limit to how many Users you can have in your company.
- Users can reside anywhere in the world, not just the country your account numbers(s) has been registered.
