On March 1st, TNT has become FedEx Express service provider in Slovakia and it is the one who will take over and deliver all shipments FedEx Express locally.

Our teams aim to offer the same exceptional service that we expect from both companies. This means that the service quality you receive today will remain the same.

What you'll notice first

Successful integrations take time. That’s why we’re working in stages – each of which will bring different parts of FedEx Express and TNT together, and deliver improvements to your service. 

Early stages of the integration will be visible in March 1st 2019  when we combine the FedEx Express and TNT operations in Slovakia. This means that you will hear addresses a new operating center or a new ground location in this country. 

We are still working to optimize our local networks, improving collection and delivery times where possible. As of March 1st 2019 once operations in Slovakia are fully integrated,  you will benefit from a single courier for all your shipments. Throughout the integration process, providing an outstanding service remains our number one priority.

For the time being, FedEx Express and TNT will continue to provide services as they do today in countries that are not integrating locally. Our integration has a phased approach with groups of countries going through integration at the same time. We will keep you updated as progress is made on integration in other regions. TNT customers shipping to or from an embargoed country under U.S. export regulations were notified in February 2016 that all services to or from such countries were discontinued with effect from April 4, 2016.

From 1st of March 2019 TNT has been appointed as the FedEx Express service provider, which means TNT will provide the collections and deliveries of FedEx Express shipments, as well as customs clearance support. As the TNT and FedEx Express integration progresses, you’ll also start to see the FedEx Express and TNT logos side by side on your courier’s lanyard and in some of our communications, as well as on courier vans.

No. There are no changes to the way you book and ship your shipments with FedEx Express and TNT. You can continue to use your preferred methods. We will inform you about on any changes and improvements for your business.

For now, there are no changes to scheduling pick-ups, you can continue to use the same applications and tools you always did. However, as TNT is the FedEx Express service provider in Slovakia, a TNT courier will pick up TNT and FedEx Express shipments. 

No. For now, there are no changes to the use of the air waybill. For FedEx Express shipments please continue to use the FedEx Express air waybill, and for TNT shipments, please continue to use the TNT air waybill.

There are no immediate changes to your existing clearance operations, services or times. Our team members are committed to delivering the same exceptional service you expect from the TNT brand.

TNT is a FedEx Express service provider in Slovakia and from 1st of March 2019 will provide customs clearance support for all FedEx Express inbound and outbound shipments to/from Slovakia. Each company's packaging is customised and optimised for its own delivery network and as such should only be used with the company who supplied the packaging. You may ship using your own packaging or using the shipping company's packaging but please do not mix packaging.
