NEW: Unauthorized Charges

Applicable to FedEx shipments that exceed our operational limits and require special handling to move through our network:

Unauthorized Package Charge

€ 250 per package will apply when a package exceeds 274 cm in length, or when length plus girth exceeds 419 cm, or the actual weight is over 68 kg – whichever limit is exceeded.

Unauthorized Freight Charge

€ 400 per freight handling unit will apply when a freight handling unit exceeds 302 cm in length, or when length plus girth exceeds 762 cm, or the actual weight is over 1,995 kg – whichever limit is exceeded.

IMPORTANT: Shipments that meet these criteria will not be accepted and may be returned to the shipper. If found within our network, these shipments will be subject to the applicable Unauthorized Charge. In exceptional cases, and at our sole discretion, such shipments may be accepted and delivered with the corresponding Unauthorized Charge applied.

Ancillary clearance services

Effective 14 July 2025, a new ancillary clearance charge called Hold and Notify will apply when a customer requests us to hold a FedEx shipment and contact them to provide clearance instructions. The fee is € 3 per shipment.

We reserve the right to amend rates, surcharges, transit times, and zones as we deem necessary with or without notice and in accordance with our Terms and Conditions of Carriage. We may amend, modify, or discontinue any services offered by FedEx at any time with or without notice. Service availability may vary depending upon the point or time of collection or delivery, shipment size or weight, or commodity type.
