Smart Price. Smarter Choice.

  1. These Terms and Conditions govern entry and conduct of the Smart Price. Smarter Choice promotion (‘Promotion’). You are deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions when you enter this Promotion as set out below.
  2. The promoters are FedEx Express Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 41 000 495 269) of 201 Coward St, Mascot NSW 2020 Australia, and FedEx Express New Zealand (NZBN 9429047176348) of 38 Business Parade South, East Tamaki, Auckland 2013, New Zealand (collectively ‘FedEx’).
  3. This Promotion is open to participants who:
  • hold an active FedEx Express account (cash account holders are ineligible); and
  • is (if a company) an Australian or New Zealand registered company; or
  • is (if a natural person) an Australian or New Zealand resident over the age of 18; and
  • comply with these Terms and Conditions.

(each being an ‘Eligible Participant’, and collectively ‘Eligible Participants’)

  1. If an Eligible Participant holds a FedEx Express business account and operates as a business or company, then an individual person may be nominated as its representative (‘Nominated Representative’) and participates on the Eligible Participant's behalf, but not in his/her own name or on his/her own behalf. Only one Nominated Representative is permitted per Eligible Participant.
  2. Each of the following individuals are excluded from entry in and eligibility for this Promotion:
  • individuals directly involved in the conduct of this Promotion who are employees of FedEx, or agencies associated with this Promotion, and their immediate families, are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or stepchild (whether natural or by adoption), parent, stepparent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, stepbrother, stepsister or first cousin; and
  • employees, agents, officers, and representatives of any government department, government owned entity, juristic person funded by any government department, political party or public international organisation, or any candidates for political office.
  1. The Promotion commences at 9:00 am (AEDT)/11:00 (NZST) on Monday 9 March 2026 and closes at 5:00 pm (AEST)/7:00 pm (NZDT) on Tuesday 30 June 2026 (‘Promotional Period’).
  2. To enter this Promotion, Eligible Participants must book at least one Eligible Import Heavy Shipment or Eligible Export Heavy Shipment using the Last-Minute Rate Tool during the Promotion Period (each an ‘Entry’). 
  3. An Eligible Import Heavy Shipment or Eligible Export Heavy Shipment means a shipment that:
  1. The Last-Minute Rate Tool is the tool located on FedEx’s website at the following link: https://www.fedex.com/en-au/shipping-tools/heavyfreight.html.
  2. Each Eligible Import Heavy Shipment and Eligible Export Heavy Shipment must be:
  • booked by an Eligible Participant via the Last-Minute Rate Tool; and
  • collected by FedEx;

    • during the Promotional Period, and is paid by the Eligible Participant by:

  • the payment terms in the corresponding invoice; or
  • the Draw Date,

whichever occurs first, will receive one entry into the Draw.

  1. Eligible Participants will receive one bonus entry into the Draw during the Promotional Period for every:
  • Eligible Export Heavy Shipment shipped to a FedEx serviced address in Europe; and
  • (applicable only if the Eligible Participant is located in Australia) Eligible Export Heavy Shipment shipped to a FedEx serviced address in New Zealand; or
  • (applicable only if the Eligible Participant is located in New Zealand) Eligible Export Heavy Shipment shipped to a FedEx serviced address in Australia

and which otherwise complies with clause 10 above.

  1. The Draw will take place at 2:00 pm (AEST)/4:00 pm (NZDT) on Thursday 30 July 2026 (‘Draw Date’) at 201 Coward St, Mascot NSW 2020, Australia.
  2. The first 4 unique Eligible Participants randomly drawn from the Entries will each win, subject to clause 15, one AU or NZ $250 Prezzee Online Gift Card (each a ‘Winner’ and collectively ‘Winners’). For the avoidance of doubt, an Eligible Participant cannot win any more than one AU or NZ $250 Prezzee Online Gift Card despite the number of Entries such Eligible Participant has made.

  1. If a Winner resides, or is a company registered, in New Zealand, the Prize will still be awarded in New Zealand Dollars, and if the winner resides, or is a company registered, in Australia the Prize will be awarded in Australian Dollars.
  2. A list of Winners will be made available at fedex.com. Further, Winners will be notified by email and / or phone. 
  3. The Prizes will be sent from FedEx’s Head Office – 201 Coward Street, Mascot, NSW 2020 Australia within 21 days of the Draw Date. If any of the Winners cannot be contacted and/or are unable to accept the prize within 4 weeks after the Draw Date, the Prize will be deemed forfeited. In such case, a new draw will take place.
  4. FedEx reserves the right to redraw in the event of an Eligible Entrant being unable to satisfy these Terms and Conditions, forfeiting or not claiming a Prize. If any of the Prizes remain unclaimed or forfeited through ineligibility or otherwise after the Draw Date, FedEx will conduct a further draw at 4:00 pm (ADST)/6:00 pm (NZDT) on Thursday 27 August 2026 and the Winners will be notified in writing and/or by a phone call. No further draws will be undertaken.
  5. To the extent permitted by applicable law, FedEx’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding results. The Prizes are not exchangeable, transferable or redeemable in cash or in other products or services. FedEx will only award the Prizes following Winners’ validation and verification.
  6. FedEx takes no responsibility for any lost or misdirected Entries, including delays in the delivery of the Entry due to technical disruptions, network congestions or for any other reason. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, FedEx (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of this Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under FedEx’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) incorrect details lodged by entrants; (d) any entry or Prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by FedEx) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of FedEx; (e) any variation in Prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (f) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; (g) possession or use of a Prize; or (h) any failure by a Winner to adhere to any terms and conditions imposed by a third party responsible for providing the Prize. In addition, participation in the promotion and/or use of the Prize is entirely at the own risk of the winner and for their own account. FedEx is not liable for any damages, direct and/or indirect, arising from or in any way connected with the Prize.
  7. The Prize is awarded in its current state. FedEx is not responsible for any visible or hidden defects in the Prize, or for any damage resulting from delivery of the Prize.
  8. To the extent permitted by applicable law, FedEx reserves the right to vary any Prize or may substitute the Prize for a prize of like or equal value or cancel this Promotion if it is no longer able to run the Promotion due to reasons beyond its control. FedEx will not be liable for any losses to any party arising from any variation or cancellation.
  9. The terms and conditions of carriage on the applicable FedEx Air Waybill, in effect on the day of any shipment, will apply to the shipment.
  10. In the event of any inconsistency between the Terms and Conditions and any brochure, marketing or promotional material relating to this Promotion, these Terms and Conditions will prevail.
  11. To the extent permitted by applicable law, FedEx is not responsible for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this Promotion, or for any technical error, or any combination thereof that may occur in the course of the administration of this Promotion including (but not limited to) any omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line or telephone, mobile or satellite network failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of Entries.
  12. By entering into this Promotion, each Eligible Entrant consents to FedEx collecting, using and disclosing his or her personal information for and in connection with this Promotion for the purposes of facilitating the conduct of the Promotion and awarding a Prize, including but not limited to publishing the names of Winners in emails and on fedex.com. Without limiting the foregoing, Eligible Entrants’ personal information provided in connection with this Promotion will be handled in accordance with FedEx’s Privacy Policy, a copy of which is available by contacting FedEx or from our website: https://www.fedex.com/en-au/privacy-policy.html.
  13. If an Eligible Entrant nominates an employee or officer of the Eligible Entrant to receive a Prize (‘Nominee’) then the Eligible Entrant warrants it has obtained the consent of the Nominee for the purpose of FedEx using the personal information of such Nominee in the same manner as that of the Eligible Entrant as set out in these Terms and Conditions and indemnifies FedEx against all liability, loss and damages suffered by FedEx resulting from a breach of such warranty.
  14. Each Eligible Entrant is responsible for ensuring that they have complied with its policies, rules and guidelines (‘Policies’) in relation to receiving ‘prizes’ from its suppliers and the Eligible Entrant warrants that it will be in full compliance of such Policies by accepting the Prize or nominating a Nominee to accept the Prize.
  15. FedEx will not be obliged to award Prizes if it would be contrary to any applicable laws.
  16. To the extent permitted by applicable law, FedEx reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice.
