CBAM – Account Number Submission Form

The EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) requires importers who plan to bring more than 50 tonnes of CBAM-covered goods into the EU in the next calendar year to hold a valid CBAM account number.

This form allows you to share your CBAM account number with the FedEx clearance team. Once we receive it, we will use this number in the import declarations we submit for your CBAM-covered goods.

If FedEx is not informed about your CBAM account number, FedEx will consider you are below the annual single mass-based 50 tons threshold and will clear your shipments based on that assumption, applying the customs rules linked to it.
