TERMS & CONDITIONS

By participating in the Boost EDGE Program (“Program”), each employee of FedEx South Africa (“Participant”) acknowledges and agrees to comply fully with the following Terms and Conditions, which are legally binding for the duration of the Program.

1.   ELIGIBILITY

  1. This Program is exclusively open to employees of FedEx South Africa who are not part of the Sales or Marketing functions (“non-commercial employees”).
  2. Participation is voluntary and must take place in the employee’s personal capacity.
  3. Employees may not participate under a pseudonym, alias, or on behalf of another individual.

2.   PROGRAM DURATION

  1. The Program commences on 1 August 2025 at 00:01 SAST and concludes on 31 July 2026 at 23:59 SAST.

3.   LEAD QUALIFICATION CRITERIA

To be considered a valid lead under this Program, the following conditions must be satisfied:

  2. The business must show genuine interest or potential in initiating international shipping with FedEx.
  3. The business must be a new customer with no recorded shipments or account activity with FedEx or TNT within the preceding six (6) calendar months.
  4. The business must not currently be subject to outreach or engagement from FedEx Inside Sales or Field Sales teams.
  5. The submitted business must complete at least one (1) Eligible Shipment (as defined in Clause 5) within sixty (60) days from the date of new account activation.
  6. Participants must ensure that all required lead details are submitted accurately and in good faith.
  7. FedEx may request further clarification to verify the legitimacy of any submitted lead.

4.   DUPLICATE SUBMISSIONS

  1. In the event that multiple Participants submit the same business as a lead, the lead will be attributed to the Participant whose submission is earliest by recorded timestamp.
  2. Duplicate submissions across shipping categories (e.g., import and export) will be assessed based on shipment activity date. Only the earliest instance will qualify for reward consideration.

5.   ELIGIBLE SHIPMENTS

For the purposes of this Program, an "Eligible Shipment" refers to the first successful international shipment tendered by the customer following account activation and must meet the following criteria:

  4. The shipment must be successfully delivered and invoiced through standard FedEx billing processes.
  5. Return shipments, third-party shipments, and shipments under promotional or incentive-based rate structures may be excluded at FedEx’s discretion.
  6. FedEx reserves the right to verify shipment details, including but not limited to shipment date, destination, service type, and billing status, prior to confirming eligibility for reward issuance.

6.   REWARD STRUCTURE

  1. Participants will be eligible for the following rewards:

  3. Rewards may be issued in the form of vouchers, prepaid cards, or other equivalent instruments, at FedEx’s sole discretion.
  4. Rewards are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or other forms of compensation.
  5. Reward issuance is subject to internal verification and may be withheld or revoked if the lead or associated shipment is later found to be ineligible, fraudulent, or otherwise non-compliant with these Terms.

7.   INVALID OR DISQUALIFIED ENTRIES

Submissions will be deemed invalid if:

  1. The lead information is materially incomplete, incorrect, or misleading.
  2. The Participant is found to have sourced the lead using confidential or proprietary FedEx shipment/customer data.
  3. The lead is later determined to be ineligible under Clauses 3 or 5.

  5. FedEx has reasonable grounds to suspect fraud, misrepresentation, or abuse of the Program.
  6. FedEx accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, corrupted, misdirected, or inaccessible due to technical disruptions or system failures.

8.   PRIVACY AND DATA USE

  1. By submitting a lead, the Participant consents to FedEx collecting, processing, and storing the submitted information for the purpose of verifying eligibility, administering rewards, conducting audits, and maintaining Program records.

  3. All decisions made by FedEx relating to submission eligibility, reward determination, disqualification, or Program interpretation shall be final, conclusive, and not subject to appeal.
  4. FedEx reserves the right to suspend, amend, or cancel the Program, or revise these Terms and Conditions, at any time without prior notice and without liability.

10.   GOVERNING LAW AND INTERPRETATION

  1. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
  2. If any provision herein is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be severed, and the remainder shall remain in full force and effect.
