Service Disruption in the Philippines due to the APEC Summit

FedEx Express services in the Philippines will be impacted from November 16 to 20, 2015 due to road and airport closures that are part of the security measures for the 2015 APEC Summit Economic Leaders’ Meeting.

Customers may experience the following shipment delays and service limitations:

  1. For all import shipments: a 1- to 2-day delay for shipments with an original estimated delivery date between November 16-20.
  2. For all export shipments: a 1- to 2-day delay on uplift of shipments picked up between November 16-20 (pickup cut off time will remain the same).
  3. All import and export shipments to/from the Philippines: Embargo on all dangerous goods (DG), temperature-sensitive, and 023 air waybills (IXF/ATA), from November 16-20, 2015 (both dates inclusive).
