Promotion Terms and Conditions

“Fly Beyond Borders: Ship with Korea ↔ Taiwan Rewards Campaign” (“Promotion”)

1. The “Fly Beyond Borders: Ship with Korea ↔ Taiwan Rewards Campaign” (“Promotion”) is a promotion organized by FedEx (“FedEx”), which shall be governed by the terms and conditions set out herein and/or by such terms as FedEx shall impose from time to time. Entry into this Promotion constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Promotion Period (“Promotion Period”)

2. This Promotion commences on July 1, 2025 and concludes on August 31, 2025.

3. Entry into the Promotion is open to i) new customers who successfully sign up for a FedEx Korea/ FedEx Taiwan business account during the Promotion Period and ii) current FedEx Korea and FedEx Taiwan business account holders who received an invitation e-mail. (“Participants”)

4. A cash account holder is not eligible for this Promotion.

5. If a Participant is a FedEx business account holder, an individual person may be nominated as its representative (“Nominated Representative”) and enter on the Participant’s behalf, but not in his/her own name or on his/her own behalf. Only one Nominated Representative is permitted per Participant.

6. Persons under the age of majority in the applicable jurisdiction of this Promotion must obtain the prior permission of a parent or guardian over the age of majority to enter. The entry will be void without aforesaid permission.

7. FedEx accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected entries including delays in the delivery of the entry due to technical disruptions, network congestion or for any other reason.

8. If the Participant does not want their personal information to be utilized by FedEx for further promotional or direct marketing activities, the Participant may click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any FedEx email notifications.

9. By participating in this Promotion, you acknowledge and agree to comply with the terms and conditions that are established by FedEx. If there are violations of the regulations and counterfeiters, FedEx has the right to cancel the winner’s eligibility.

Rewards: Selection and Notice of Rewards Recipient

10. During the Promotion Period, Participants who make one inbound or outbound shipment between Korean and Taiwan, pay using their enrolled FedEx business account and complete the enrollment form on the designated page (stated in clause 11) will be entitled to:

(1) Enter the lucky draw for a chance to win the following:

i. Each FedEx business account is entitled to participate in this Promotion once only. For cases where (i) multiple entries were made under one FedEx business account; or (ii) multiple entries were made under multiple FedEx business accounts, the earliest entry will be taken as the valid entry and the other entries will be void.

ii. Any unused value of all prizes including gift voucher cannot be exchanged for cash, cash equivalents or any other rewards, goods or services of equivalent value. Any unused prizes and related entitlements will be cancelled after their validity date expires without any compensation.

iii. Winners will receive the award collection arrangement notification by December 2025. Winners must verify their identity with FedEx within forty-eight (48) hours after the date of the notification by producing letter of authorization authorizing its usual contact person registered at FedEx to collect the prize.

iv. If the winner fails to verify the identity before the deadline stipulated by FedEx, the winner shall be assumed to have forfeited the right to redeem the prize.

v. There will be no replacement or compensation for any awarded prize which was lost or stolen.

vi. Additional terms and conditions for Taiwan regarding the tax regulations:

a. If the winner is a resident of Taiwan and the prize value exceeds NTD1,000, they must submit a copy of their ID (front and back) for tax purposes. The prize value will be counted as personal income for annual tax filing, and the organizing entity will issue a tax withholding statement the following year.

b. If the winner is not a resident of Taiwan, regardless of the prize amount, a 20% withholding tax will be deducted from the prize before issuance, and the organizing entity will issue a tax withholding statement.

c. If the winner is a Taiwan resident and the prize value exceeds NTD20,000, they must pay a 10% withholding tax before receiving the prize.

d. If the winner is a minor, they must submit a household registration transcript and a consent form from their legal guardian.

e. If the winner refuses to pay the required tax, they will be deemed to have forfeited their prize, with no objections allowed.

f. Any taxes owed due to participation in this event are solely the winner's legal responsibility and are unrelated to the organizer or executing entity.

g. If tax regulations are updated or changed, the latest rules will apply.

(2) Receive the corresponding value of the incentive as stated in the invitation e-mail or designated landing page. This incentive will be only applicable for i) customers who sign up as a new customer and successfully sign up for a FedEx Korea/ FedEx Taiwan business account during the Promotion Period and ii) for existing select FedEx Korea or FedEx Taiwan business account holders who received an invitation e-mail about additional incentives.

11. To be eligible for the rewards (as defined in clause 10), Participants must successfully make one shipment from Taiwan to Korea or Korea to Taiwan and complete the enrollment form as instructed in the e-mail and designated FedEx website.

General Terms and Conditions

1. The pictures and information of the prizes are for reference only, the actual products shall be considered as final.

2. FedEx shall not be liable for any loss or damage (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) which is suffered by a Participant or other parties in connection with this Promotion, including but not limited to personal injury and tax obligations that may arise from accepting any of the rewards, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

3. No liability can be attributed to FedEx in the event of improper use by the Participant of the aforementioned rewards or use by people who are unsuitable due to age or physical/mental conditions.

4. FedEx shall not be liable for any malfunction, defect or issue faced with any product(s) or service(s) issued hereunder as rewards for this Promotion. All guarantees and limitations issued by the supplier in relation to such product(s) and service(s) shall apply.

5. The Participants’ registration information and time for this Promotion recorded by the FedEx server are considered as final. If there is any technical problem with regard to any computers, communication tools and networks or any other factors beyond the reasonable control of FedEx leading to any delays, loss, errors or unrecognizable information of the Participants or prize notifications issued by the FedEx, FedEx is not liable to them and any resulted consequences. FedEx’s decisions are final.

6. Eligibility to participate excludes the directors, management and employees (and their immediate families) of FedEx, its related entities, printers, suppliers, providers and agencies associated with the promotion stated herein as well as employees, agents, officers, and representatives of any government department, government owned entity, juristic person funded by any government department, political party or public international organization, or any candidates for political office.

7. FedEx reserves the right to require the Participant(s) to execute a certificate of eligibility prior to awarding the Participant(s) with the prize, confirming that the winner is not excluded from entry into this Promotion pursuant to these Terms and Conditions and that the Participant(s) has complied fully with these Terms and Conditions. If requested by FedEx, truthful completion of this certificate is a precondition to the award of the rewards. 

8. In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any brochure, marketing or promotional material relating to this Promotion, these Terms and Conditions will prevail.

9. By entering this Promotion, you hereby consent to FedEx, its parent and affiliates (collectively “FedEx” for the purposes of this Clause 21), and their authorized agents, service providers and business/marketing partners to collect, use, disclose, transfer and share the personal data you have provided (including across jurisdictions) for purposes of conducting and administering the Promotion; and relationship management, sales, marketing, advertising, and promotion purposes, which purposes include any other purpose as authorized by you, or as otherwise required or permitted by law. You also agree that: (i) the consent herein overrides any earlier withdrawal of your consent; (ii) the consent herein does not supersede or replace any other consents which you may have provided to FedEx, their authorized agents, service providers and/or business/marketing partners; and (iii) FedEx, their authorized agents, service providers and/or business/marketing partners may contact you via any mode and media about products and services offered by FedEx regardless of your registration(s) with any do not contact/call registry.

11. If this Promotion is not capable of running as planned for any reason, including tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures and any other causes beyond the control of FedEx, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the promotion, FedEx reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Promotion.

12. The terms and conditions of carriage in the applicable FedEx Air Waybill, in effect on the day of any shipment, shall apply to the shipment. If there is a conflict between the terms of the FedEx Air Waybill and these Terms and Conditions, the former will control.

13. In the event of any discrepancies with respect to this Promotion, the FedEx decision is final and no other further correspondence will be accepted. FedEx will not be obliged to award the rewards if it is contrary to any applicable laws or regulations.

14. FedEx reserves the right to issue new discounts, modify FedEx's List Rates, impose surcharges (including fuel surcharge) and amend, modify, or discontinue the Program at any time. FedEx will provide prior notice to participants of any change in the discounts or a discontinuance of the Program either by mail or a message sent by an electronic transmission. Please refer to the respective Nation/ Country’s FedEx website or FedEx Customer Service for any amendment or modification to FedEx List Rates, surcharges (including fuel surcharge) or other terms and conditions of the Program.

15. FedEx reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice.
