FedEx Terms and Conditions

“Unlock 45% discount and get HK $1000 e-shipping voucher when you open a new corporate account online” (“Promotion”)

1. The “Unlock 45% discount and get HK$1000 e-shipping voucher when you open a new corporate account online” (“Promotion”) is a promotion organized by FedEx Express (“FedEx”), which shall be governed by the terms and conditions set out herein and/or by such terms as FedEx shall impose from time to time. Entry into this Promotion constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions. 

Promotion Period (“Promotion Period”)

2. This Promotion commences on January 22, 2024 and concludes on February 29, 2024.

3. Entry into this Promotion is open to new FedEx Express corporate account holders who must open a corporate account with a standard credit term of 30 days through one of the online platforms via the following hyperlinks: https://weblets.dmz.apac.fedex.com/BaC/hk/en/edm/FullName/1KBACFY24Q3 or https://weblets.dmz.apac.fedex.com/BaC/hk/en/edm/FullName/1KBACFY24Q3FB during the Promotion Period. (“Participants”)

4. A holder of cash account is not eligible for this Promotion.

5. For FedEx Express corporate account, an individual person may be nominated as its representative (“Nominated Representative”) and enter on the Participant’s behalf, but not in his/her own name or on his/her own behalf. Only one Nominated Representative is permitted per Participant. 

6. Persons under the age of 18 must obtain the prior permission of a parent or guardian over the age of 18 to enter. 

7. FedEx Express accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected entries including delays in the delivery of the entry due to technical disruptions, network congestion or for any other reason.

8. If the Participant does not want their personal information to be utilized by FedEx Express for further promotional or direct marketing activities, the Participant may click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any FedEx Express email notifications.   

Rewards

9. Participant who had successfully signed up for a corporate account during the Promotion Period will be entitled to receive below rewards:

(1) $1000 FedEx Express e-Shipping Voucher (Only applicable to newly opened corporate account):

i. The e-shipping voucher will be e-mail to the Participant’s usual FedEx contact in the following period upon successfully signing up for a corporate account online:

ii. One FedEx e-shipping voucher can only offset freight service charges against one (1) FedEx Express invoice. It cannot be used to offset payment for duties, taxes, ancillary charges, surcharges (including, but not limited to, dynamic fuel surcharges), handling or billing fees.

iii. The FedEx Express e-Shipping voucher must be submitted to: FSCHK@fedex.com together with the FedEx invoice number.

iv. Any remaining balance of payment to FedEx Express should be paid before the invoice due date.

v. FedEx Express e-Shipping Voucher with incomplete/incorrect invoice no. will not be processed.

vi. The FedEx Express e-Shipping Voucher cannot be used for cash-prepaid shipments.

vii. The FedEx Express e-Shipping Voucher, including any unused value cannot be exchanged for cash, cash equivalents or any other gifts, goods or services of equal value.

(2) 45% shipping discount. The shipping discount can only be applied to outbound and inbound shipments using the following FedEx services:

i. FedEx International Priority (IP)

ii. FedEx International Priority Freight (IPF)

iii. FedEx International Economy (IE)

iv. FedEx International Economy Freight (IEF)

Remarks:

• A fuel surcharge and other special fees will apply.
• The rates and services may be updated from time to time. For details, please visit https://www.fedex.com/en-hk for the latest information.
• Participant is entitled to enjoy the 45% discount for 6 months starting from its account creation date. FedEx reserves the right to amend the discount after the 6-month period.

10. The stock of rewards for this Promotion is limited, and while the stock lasts, rewards will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis to Participants who meet the abovementioned criteria based on the date of shipment.

11. One air waybill equals one shipment and a single shipment with multiple pieces will be considered as one shipment.

12. Pooling of shipments from multiple accounts is not permitted and such pooled shipments are not eligible to earn rewards in this Promotion.

13. FedEx Express reserves the right to replace the reward stated herein with other items of equivalent value without notice. 

14. This Promotion cannot be used in conjunction with other promotional offers which included but not limited to FEDEX SHIP MORE, SAVE MORE PROGRAM, Make Shipping More Rewardable” Promotion.

General Terms and Conditions

15. FedEx Express shall not be liable for any loss or damage (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) which is suffered by a Participant or other parties in connection with this Promotion, including but not limited to personal injury and tax obligations that may arise from accepting any of the rewards, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

16. No liability can be attributed to FedEx in the event of improper use by the Participant of the aforementioned rewards or use by people who are unsuitable due to age or physical/mental conditions.

17. FedEx shall not be liable for any malfunction, defect or issue faced with any product(s) or service(s) issued hereunder as rewards for this Promotion. All guarantees and limitations issued by the supplier in relation to such product(s) and service(s) shall apply.

18. Eligibility to participate excludes the directors, management and employees (and their immediate families) of FedEx Express, its related entities, printers, suppliers, providers and agencies associated with the promotion stated herein as well as employees, agents, officers, and representatives of any government department, government owned entity, juristic person funded by any government department, political party or public international organization, or any candidates for political office. 

19. FedEx Express reserves the right to require the Participant(s) to execute a certificate of eligibility prior to awarding the Participant(s) with the prize, confirming that the winner is not excluded from entry into this Promotion pursuant to these Terms and Conditions and that the Participant(s) has complied fully with these Terms and Conditions. If requested by FedEx, truthful completion of this certificate is a precondition to the award of the rewards. 

20. In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any brochure, marketing or promotional material relating to this Promotion, these Terms and Conditions will prevail.

21. By entering this Promotion, you hereby consent to Federal Express, its parent and affiliates (collectively “FedEx” for the purposes of this Clause 24), and their authorized agents, service providers and business/marketing partners to collect, use, disclose, transfer and share the personal data you have provided (including across jurisdictions) for purposes of conducting and administering the Promotion; and relationship management, sales, marketing, advertising, and promotion purposes, which purposes include any other purpose as authorized by you, or as otherwise required or permitted by law. You also agree that: (i) the consent herein overrides any earlier withdrawal of your consent; (ii) the consent herein does not supersede or replace any other consents which you may have provided to FedEx, their authorized agents, service providers and/or business/marketing partners; and (iii) FedEx, their authorized agents, service providers and/or business/marketing partners may contact you via any mode and media about products and services offered by FedEx regardless of your registration(s) with any do not contact/call registry. In addition, you hereby represent and warrant that you are the user and/or subscriber of the contact details provided by you.

22. If this Promotion is not capable of running as planned for any reason, including tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures and any other causes beyond the control of FedEx Express, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the promotion, FedEx Express reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Promotion. 

23. The terms and conditions of carriage in the applicable FedEx Express Air Waybill, in effect on the day of any shipment, shall apply to the shipment. If there is a conflict between the terms of the FedEx Express Air Waybill and these Terms and Conditions, the former will control.  

24. In the event of any discrepancies with respect to this Promotion, the FedEx decision is final and no other further correspondence will be accepted. FedEx will not be obliged to award the rewards if it is contrary to any applicable laws or regulations.

25. FedEx reserves the right to issue new discounts, modify FedEx's List Rates, impose surcharges (including fuel surcharge) and amend, modify, or discontinue the Program at any time. FedEx will provide prior notice to participants of any change in the discounts or a discontinuance of the Program either by mail or a message sent by an electronic transmission. Any amendment or modification to FedEx List Rates, surcharges (including fuel surcharge), or other terms and conditions of the Program, will be posted on fedex.com/en-hk/home.html and will also be available from FedEx Customer Service.

26. In case of any inconsistency between English and Chinese version, the English version shall prevail.

27. FedEx Express reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice.
