What happens when no one is at my home or office to accept a shipment?

If no one was available to accept a shipment, FedEx may leave the package in a secure location. If this option is not possible, the driver will leave a ‘Missed Delivery Card’ with a QR code. You can scan the code which will take you to our website and the options you have.

Depending on your country and shipment type, you can arrange to deliver:

• On a later date
• To a neighbor
• To a safe space
• To a pickup point
• To another address
• With additional instructions for the driver

If you missed a delivery, you’ll need to arrange a new date and time in FedEx Delivery Manager® so we can attempt the delivery again.

Please note that these delivery options may not be available for all shipments. For example, options may be restricted if:

●      The shipment is of high value

●      A direct or adult signature is required

●      The sender has placed delivery restrictions
