SHIP AND SHOP (“CAMPAIGN”)

 

A. CAMPAIGN SPECIFC TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

1. By submitting an entry into this Campaign, you will be deemed to accept these Terms and Conditions.

2. Campaign Period: This Campaign commences on September 27, 2019 at 8am PHT and concludes on December 31, 2019 at 12 midnight PHT.

3. Entry to Campaign 

i. Entry into this Campaign is open existing FedEx and/or TNT account holders invited by email (“Account Holder”), and members of the general public who ship through FedEx World Service Centers, selected 2GO outlets, Savemore, SM Business Center, Walter Mart and SM hypermarket.

ii. “Participant” refers to an eligible party who participates in this Campaign pursuant to these Terms and Conditions. 

iii. “Eligible Shipment” refers to a shipment made by a Participant pursuant to these Terms and Conditions.

iv. After an Eligible Shipment is made, an eligible party may submit an entry into this Campaign as follows:

a. Account Holders must do a one-time registration of their account number through the Campaign website (https://www.fedex.com/en-ph/campaign/raffle.html ) on or before December 31, 2019. Upon registration, your Eligible Shipment’s Air Waybill (“AWB”) number will automatically be recorded as a raffle entry in your account’s name; or

b. Members of the general public must register the AWB number of an Eligible Shipment through the Campaign website (https://www.fedex.com/en-ph/campaign/raffle.html )  on or before December 31, 2019.

v. Each submission of an Eligible Shipment AWB number will entitle a Participant to one raffle entry. Each raffle entry will be for a chance to win prizes in this Campaign.

vi. If a participant is a FedEx or TNT business account, then an individual person may be nominated as its representative (“Nominated Representative”) and enter on the participant’s behalf, but not in his/her own name or on his/her own behalf.  Only one Nominated Representative is permitted per participant.

vii. Persons under the age of 18 must obtain the prior permission of a parent or guardian over the age of 18 to enter. 

viii. Incomprehensible, objectionable and incomplete entries will be invalid and will not be eligible for the rewards.   

ix. FedEx accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected entries including delays in the delivery of the entry due to technical disruptions, network congestion or for any other reason.

4. Rewards; Selection and Notice of Winners 

i. The winner(s) will receive their prizes  within two (2) months by post to their address from Raffle Date as defined below.

ii. FedEx reserves the right to replace the reward stated herein with other items of equivalent value without notice. The reward stated herein cannot be exchanged for cash, cash-equivalents or any other gifts, goods or service of value.

iii. The winner(s) will be selected through a raffle draw scheduled on January 17 , 2020 or such other date as mutually agreed between FedEx and the Department of Trade and Industry (“DTI”) (“Raffle Date.

iv. The results of this Campaign will be announced on January 27, 2020 at 3pm via the FedEx Philippines Facebook page. Winners would be notified of the Campaign result by telephone, email, or registered post.  

v. The Campaign prizes are as follows: 

1st Prize: One (1) SM Gift Pass worth PhP 35,000 and one (1) shipping voucher worth PhP 35,000 (one (1) winner)

2nd prize: SM Gift Passes worth Php  3,500 each (five (5) winners)

Consolation Prizes: FedEx die-cast planes (thirty-five (35) winners)

vi. The SM Gift Passes are transferable to another individual, subject to any terms and conditions set out on the SM Gift Pass. SM Gift Passes are not convertible to cash, and do not have an expiration date.

vii. Employees of FedEx, reseller partners, vendors, advertising agency, including their relatives up to the second degree of consanguinity or affinity are disqualified from joining the promotion.

viii. 20% withholding tax for prizes exceeding P10,000 will be borne by FedEx.

5. General

i. FedEx shall not be liable for any loss or damage (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) which is suffered by a participant or other parties in connection with this Campaign, including but not limited to personal injury and tax obligations that may arise from accepting any of the rewards, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. 

ii. Eligibility excludes the directors, management and employees (and their immediate families) of FedEx, its related entities, printers, suppliers, providers and agencies associated with the promotion stated herein as well as employees, agents, officers, and representatives of any government department, government owned entity, juristic person funded by any government department, political party or public international organization, or any candidates for political office. 

iii. FedEx reserves the right to require the winner(s) to present a valid government issued ID prior to awarding the winner(s) with the prize, confirming that the winner is not excluded from entry into this Campaign pursuant to these Terms and Conditions and that the winner(s) has complied fully with these Terms and Conditions. Truthful completion of this certificate is a precondition to the award of the rewards.

iv. FedEx reserves the right to require the winner(s) to execute a certificate of eligibility prior to awarding the winner(s) with the prize, confirming that the winner is not excluded from entry into this Campaign pursuant to these Terms and Conditions and that the winner(s) has complied fully with these Terms and Conditions. Truthful completion of this certificate is a precondition to the award of the rewards.

v. By entering this Campaign, unless otherwise advised by the participant, each participant consents to the information they submit being entered into a database which may be used by FedEx in any media for future promotional and publicity purposes.

vi. If this Campaign is not capable of running as planned for any reason, including tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures and any other causes beyond the control of FedEx, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the promotion, FedEx reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Campaign.

vii. The terms and conditions of carriage in the applicable FedEx Express AWB in effect on the day of any shipment, shall apply to the shipment. If there is a conflict between the terms of the FedEx Express AWB and these Terms and Conditions, the former will control.

viii. In the event of any discrepancies with respect to this Campaign, FedEx's decision (with prior approval from DTI) is final and no other further correspondence will be accepted. FedEx will not be obliged to award the rewards if it is contrary to any applicable laws or regulations.

ix. FedEx reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice.

 

B. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)

1. What is Ship and Shop?

Ship and Shop is a promotional campaign by FedEx Express and TNT Philippines conducted in collaboration with 2GO Express, SM Hypermarket, SM Business Center, Walter Mart and Savemore. Existing FedEx and TNT Account Holders and the general public are encouraged to participate in this Campaign by registering their AWB on the Campaign website. Successful participants will have the chance to win prizes such as SM gift vouchers.

2. Who can join Ship and Shop?

Ship and Shop is open to FedEx and TNT Account Holders invited by email and the general public, who ship with us between September 27, 2019 at 8 am and December 31, 2019 at 12 midnight.

3. Do I have to send a FedEx or TNT shipment to join Ship and Shop?

Yes. Each FedEx or TNT shipment AWB entitles you to one raffle entry.

4. How can I join to win during the (Ship and Shop) Campaign?

For FedEx and/or TNT Account Holders: complete a one-time registration of your account number through the designated campaign website (https://www.fedex.com/en-ph/campaign/raffle.html) on or before December 31, 2019. The AWB number of your Eligible Shipment will automatically be recorded as one(1) raffle entry. 

Alternatively, you may Click the “Register now” button in the email invitation. 

For the general public: Simply log on to the campaign microsite and register the AWB number of your shipment, and your contact information (name, address, contact number). The microsite can be accessed by: 

a. Scanning the QR code (available on our posters and/or Facebook post)

5. Can I enter the raffle multiple times?

Yes. Each FedEx/ TNT shipment AWB is equivalent to one raffle entry.

6. How will I know if I won the raffle?

The winner will be announced on our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/FedExAPAC/) on January 27, 2020. The winner will also be notified via telephone, email, and registered post through the contact details provided. 

7. Do I need to share about Ship and Shop on Facebook to join the raffle?

No. However we encourage you to share.

8. What are the Campaign prizes?

There are three prizes that can be won:

1st Prize: One (1) SM Gift Pass worth PhP 35,000 and one (1) shipping voucher worth PhP 35,000 (one (1) winner)

2nd prize: SM Gift Passes worth Php  3,500 each (five (5) winners)

Consolation Prizes: FedEx die-cast planes (thirty-five (35) winners)

9. How many winners will be drawn?

There can only be one (1) prize awarded to each winner. If a participant is chosen for more than one (1) prize, the winner must take the prize with the higher monetary value and another raffle entry will be drawn for the other prize(s).

10. Is the prize convertible to cash?

No, the prize is not convertible to cash.

11. Is the prize transferrable?

Yes

12. When is the Campaign period?

The Campaign period is from September 27, 2019 to December 31, 2019.

13. Do I need to enrol?

Yes. Please see our response to question 4 above.

14. When will the raffle draw take place?

January 17, 2020 or such other date as mutually agreed between FedEx and the Department of Trade and Industry. Last day of sending your entries is until December 31, 2019
