What precautions should I take when shipping antibodies, enzymes, nucleic acids, etc. for consumer use from Japan?

Consumer-use antibodies, enzymes, nucleic acids, etc. may be subject to inspection and inquiry by customs regarding the contents at the time of export clearance in Japan. In order to avoid delays at customs, we recommend that you attach a letter of commitment (pledge) addressed to the customs director for the purpose of explaining the contents of the goods.
