Bill won the Straight Truck title at the Minnesota TDC to qualify for his seventh NTDC. The championship was his sixth in the Straight Truck class (2003, 2004, 2006, 2007 and 2013). He was the Minnesota Rookie of the Year in 2003 and named Grand Champion in 2004. He also won the Step Van title in 2009. Bill is a member of the elite FedEx Aces team. A 30-year safe driver, Bill has logged more than 1 million safe-driving miles. He is a 35-year professional driver who has spent 33 of those years with FedEx Express in Roseville. He points to his dad as being an inspiration by reminding him to drive safely and keep a clean record. In his free time, Bill enjoys motorsports, riding his Harley and playing guitar. He lives in Minneapolis.
