John earned his sixth Kentucky state title and the chance to improve upon his third- place finish in the 5-Axle class at the 2008 NTDC. A member of the elite FedEx Aces team, John has accumulated more than 850,000 safe-driving miles during his 20-year career. He is a 14-year safe driver for FedEx Freight based in Louisville. One of eight children, John hails from a family of professional drivers – including his twin brother, who drives for another LTL carrier. John and his wife of 22 years, Marcia, have a 13-year-old daughter, Kelsey. Away from work, he enjoys spending lots time with his family and watching Kelsey play volleyball.
