With nine titles to his credit, Roland has earned more state crowns than any other driver for FedEx Express. This year, he won the Tank Truck trophy in Massachusetts. A professional driver for 27 years and a former America’s Road Team captain, Roland has surpassed 1.5 million safe-driving miles. Based in Windsor Locks, Conn., he is president of the Connecticut Professional Drivers Association. Roland is also active as the vice president of Wishes on Wheels and is on the committee for the Northeast Charity Challenge. He and his wife Shirlene have two daughters, Tayler and Katelin, and live in East Longmeadow, Mass.
