For the third time in five years, Wayne won a state title in the Flatbed class at the Kentucky TDC. He is the 2004 National Grand Champion and Rookie of the Year and is currently a captain on the American Trucking Associations' America's Road Team. Wayne was also named Driver of the Year by the Kentucky Motor Transport Association in 2007. A driver for FedEx Freight based in Louisville, he has accumulated more than 1.2 million safe-driving miles during his 25-year driving career. Wayne and his wife Kandy have three sons, Bobby, Frankie and Dylan, and live in Lanesville, Ind. When he's away from work, Wayne enjoys fishing in his backyard and spending time with Kandy.
