Marcus Balzereit is president of Memphis-based FedEx Logistics, an integrated global logistics organization providing supply chain solutions in air and ocean cargo, trade services, customs brokerage, and specialized logistics solutions. In this role, Balzereit is responsible for the leadership and strategic direction of FedEx Logistics.
A seasoned executive with more than 25 years of experience in supply chain, freight forwarding, and contract logistics, Balzereit has held senior leadership roles across Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, and Europe. He has led large and
regional operations, driven complex turnarounds, accelerated growth in emerging and mature markets, and built high-performing commercial and operational teams around the world.
Before joining FedEx Logistics, Balzereit served as Senior Vice President of APAC Sales and Solutions for Federal Express Corporation, partnering with teams across 14 countries to strengthen customer relationships, expand value-adding solutions, and advance digital and sustainable innovation.
His earlier career includes senior executive roles at top global freight forwarders where he led regional growth, transformation, and commercial development across multiple continents.
Marcus is a father of four and enjoys yoga, running, traveling, golf, and staying informed on world affairs and the stock markets.
