What is an oversize charge?
An oversize charge applies to packages that exceed 96" in length or 130" in length and girth. The charge is based on the package’s actual rounded weight or dim weight, whichever is greater. There is a 90-lb. minimum billable weight, except for expedited international shipments.
An oversize charge is applied:
- Per package for U.S. domestic expedited services, and U.S. domestic and international standard services.
- Per shipment for international expedited services.
- If it meets either of the above conditions, each U.S. domestic multiweight package is subject to an oversize charge.
Check out our guide to Additional Handling Surcharge (AHS) and oversize package charges.
